[ the icy numb along his neck is less than a tickle compared to the physical agony; at first falco rolls onto his side and bends his knees to his stomach, because it all felt like it was burning and burning and it wouldn’t stop burning— but then his limbs felt like they were breaking if he so much moved them, a feat becoming impossible when he didn’t know what else to do to calm the scorching inside and out. that’s the last moment he couldn’t take just cringing and choking, the start of a scream erupts from his throat and dies like a whisp when the spell embeds a harsher imprisonment. the seering stabs and unseen tearing loses power, his musculature is freed from tension, and falco finally relaxes on the side he had turned to as a messy heap of shuddering, sobbing and hiccuping.
